The Wyandotte Nation will be implementing a mass notification system designed to improve communication and emergency preparedness. The mass notification platform will allow Tribal officials to notify, update and provide directions to the community in minutes through a single phone call. Information will be delivered along with other announcements about closures, construction, Tribal activities, programs, functions, etc. The Nation will also be able to send text messages to cell phones, PDA’s and email accounts, as well as receiving devices for the hearing impaired.

To ensure that the Wyandotte Nation has the most up-to-date contact information, citizens will be able to register here on September 13th. Or if you would prefer to call 1-800-256-2539 ext. 6329 you may do so.

Tribal citizens with call-blocking services should add service to their approved number list to ensure they receive important notifications from the tribe.
