Wyandotte Nation holds Town Hall meetings in California

The Wyandotte Nation held its ‘annual meeting’ style Town Hall meetings in Irvine and Sacramento, Calif. May 4-5. Previously, the very first Town Hall meeting was held in Seattle, Wash.

Chief Billy Friend gave the ‘State of the Nation’ during the meetings. The Town Hall meetings were the first of its kind for the tribe. More than 500 tribal members participated in the three meetings on the West Coast.

Chief Friend, Second Chief Norman Hildebrand, Jr., and Princess Emilee Wills took the time for photos with some of the tribe’s long distance members.
