The Bearskin Fitness Center will be hosting back-to-back events on April 25th with the annual Super Hero 5K Run and the Strong Man & Woman competition. The events will take place at the Fitness Center (1 Turtle Drive in Wyandotte, Okla.).

The Super Hero 5K also features a 1-mile fun walk. The entry fee is $10, with all proceeds going to support the Miami Animal Alliance. Register by April 6 to receive a T-shirt and dress up as your favorite hero for the race, as prizes are given for the best-dressed superhero or villain. Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as 1st through 3rd place for various age groups (see flyer for more details). The race will start at 8 am.

Weigh-in for the Strong competition begins at 9 am (clothes you will be competing in), with the event starting at 10 am. It will feature a firetruck and ambulance pull, atlas stones, and keg toss. In order to receive a T-shirt, you must register by April 6. Pre-registration is $35, and walk-up registration is $50. There will be Heavyweight and Lightweight divisions with a max of 5 participants per division, so register now! You must be 18 years or older to participate. Cash prizes!
