
Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma, the economic development division for the Wyandotte Nation, recently announced the promotion of Wyandotte Nation tribal citizen Dalana Rutledge to Chief Financial Officer.
Over the past 27 years, Dalana has served in multiple progressive leadership roles for WTOK. In 1998, she began her career as a staff accountant. Her advancements over the years have included Accounting Manager, Controller and Senior Controller positions for the organization.
In 2008, Dalana was appointed President of Wyandotte Services, a division of WTOK; she continues to hold this position today. Dalana also holds positions on the Board of Directors for all Wyandotte Nation’s enterprises, serving as Treasurer.
“When you look at the history of Wyandotte’s enterprises, Dalana has played such a large, effective role in financial reporting, policy development, and fiscal responsibility. She has built lasting relationships and developed an invaluable historical knowledge of our organization that serves as a foundation for strategic decision-making.” said Kelly Carpino, CEO for WTOK. “Her talent and dedication will continue to play a vital role in advancing the economic and social prosperity of the Wyandotte Nation.”
As a key leader, Dalana has spearheaded multiple system implementations, streamlined financial operations, and helped guide the company through phases of new development, growth and transformation. The latest implementation she led was Turtle Rewards, the new loyalty program for our convenience store division.
Dalana Rutledge earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Missouri Southern State University, where she was an All-American sprinter. In 2010, she was inducted into MSSU Athletics Hall of Fame.
