Description: 

Wyandotte Nation Government is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing, clean, and safe environment to help infants develop and reach age-appropriate milestones. The Infant Caregiver will demonstrate good judgment in caring for and engaging with each infant, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Primary duties include preparing the building for opening, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, and attending to the infants’ physical needs, including feeding on a regular schedule and diaper changing. Additionally, the Infant Caregiver will maintain accurate records of the infants’ daily activities for communication with parents, supervise sleep times, and engage infants in appropriate indoor and outdoor play. Applicants must possess an AA degree in early childhood education (preferred) or a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with at least two years of experience working with young children. Knowledge of developmental stages and a nurturing approach to supporting infants is essential. A willingness to attend training and meet licensing regulations is required, as well as the ability to work closely with parents in partnership. The employee may frequently be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and balance, cope with a high level of stress, perform simple grasping, and lift up to 75 pounds. In addition, the applicant will be subject to a physical and background checks/adjudication and drug testing.

Description: 

Wyandotte Nation Government is currently seeking applicants for a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for processing transactions; reconciling general ledger, bank, cash, investment, grant, and fixed asset accounts; and preparing weekly and quarterly financial statements for department heads. The Staff Accountant works closely with the Controller, Senior Accountant, and Accounting Director to assist with audits, quarterly reporting, and financial reviews, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and approved budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or an associate’s degree with relevant experience) and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Successful applicants will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel as needed are required. Description: 

The Wyandotte Nation is currently seeking applications for a Legal Services Project Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in the development and implementation of a grant-funded legal services project that provides civil and criminal legal assistance to victims (ages 11 and older) of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The coordinator will oversee a 12–18-month planning period to establish and expand legal services for victims, ensuring all program activities comply with Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) standards and grant requirements. Responsibilities include participation in required new-grantee orientations, OVW-sponsored training and technical assistance, and Expanding Legal Services Initiative activities such as webinars, learning exchanges, site visits, and training events to enhance program effectiveness.

 

Key duties include collecting, tracking, and reporting program performance data in accordance with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Measuring Effectiveness requirements; contributing to required assessments and evaluations; and ensuring accurate and timely data submission. The position also involves identifying and coordinating project partners, developing forms, processes, and procedures to facilitate access to legal services, and creating and distributing informational materials to promote the availability of legal assistance within the victim services program. Additionally, the Legal Services Project Coordinator will support daily program operations by maintaining professional records and filing systems; assisting staff attorneys with legal filings, pleadings, scheduling, and other administrative tasks; and performing other duties as assigned.

 

A strong emphasis is placed on accessibility and equity in service delivery, including identifying and coordinating resources for victims with limited English proficiency, those who are deaf or hard of hearing, and individuals with disabilities or other language barriers. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in law, social work, public administration, or a related field, with experience in legal services or victim advocacy preferred. Familiarity with the Violence Against Women Act, government grants, performance reporting requirements, and community-based resources is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with government agencies, service providers, and external partners. Description: 

The Wyandotte Nation is currently seeking a professional and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Management Technician to support front desk and administrative operations within our physical therapy department. This position is responsible for interviewing patients to obtain accurate demographic and insurance information, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, explaining charges and co-pays, collecting payments, and mailing patient statements. Duties include scheduling patient evaluations and follow-up appointments, updating schedules based on provider availability, assisting patients with paperwork, maintaining electronic and paper patient records, scanning documentation into the system, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The technician also assists with patient check-in and check-out, communicates with patients regarding appointments and insurance matters, and maintains a professional work environment at all times.

The position prefers familiarity with Intergy software, including EHR systems, WebPT, and Greenway, as well as the ability to collaborate with the Business Office Manager to resolve charge transmission issues and review daily reports for accuracy. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with one to three months of related experience or equivalent education and training. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, strong telephone etiquette, effective communication abilities, and sound judgment. Candidates must be able to pass required physical, drug screening, background checks, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Description: 

The Wyandotte Nation is currently seeking applications for a Clinical Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (Independent Practice). This position provides independent, comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services within a tribally operated healthcare setting in alignment with Indian Health Service standards. This position is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders across the lifespan using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The clinician delivers individual, family, and group psychotherapy; conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments; develops and implements treatment plans; provides crisis intervention and safety planning; and ensures appropriate discharge planning and continuity of care. The role includes close collaboration with medical providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support integrated, patient-centered care, as well as coordination with community partners and referral sources, including psychiatric services. The clinician maintains accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record, ensures compliance with federal, state, tribal, Indian Health Service, and confidentiality regulations, and performs case management functions as needed to support positive patient outcomes. Additional responsibilities include community outreach, presentations, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and clinical competencies.

Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution and hold a current, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in the State of Oklahoma authorized for independent practice. A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, with strong preference given to candidates with experience in integrated healthcare, tribal health, or Indian Health Service settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and crisis-management skills; knowledge of healthcare data systems; the ability to work effectively under stress; and a commitment to culturally responsive care. CPR/AED/First Aid certification, the ability to travel as needed, and successful completion of required physical, drug screening, background checks, and possession of a valid driver’s license are required.

The Wyandotte Nation is currently seeking applications for two full-time evening Custodians to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across campus. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is capable of working independently and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining assigned buildings and ensuring all areas are well-kept and presentable.

This role involves a variety of physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in confined or crowded spaces. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and perform team lifts of over 100 pounds, as well as push and pull loads between 50 to 100 pounds. The position also requires the use of cleaning agents and chemicals and the ability to work in environments with dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise exposure.

The Wyandotte Nation Police Department is seeking a dedicated and experienced law enforcement professional to serve as Police Lieutenant, providing supervisory and professional leadership during assigned shifts. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing patrol operations; ensuring the protection of life and property; maintaining peace and public safety; and delivering high-quality law enforcement services to the Wyandotte Nation and the Town of Wyandotte. The Lieutenant exercises command authority over assigned personnel, oversees major incident responses, ensures compliance with departmental policies, supports accurate crime reporting, and provides mentorship, training, and performance oversight for officers. Strong judgment, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with the public, staff, and partner agencies are essential.

Candidates should demonstrate advanced knowledge of tribal, federal, state, and municipal law; modern policing techniques; and the use of technical and safety equipment. A Bachelor’s degree in police science, law enforcement, criminal justice, public administration, or a closely related field is preferred, along with a minimum of five years of police experience, supervisory background, and current CLEET certification or eligibility for reciprocity. Applicants must also be able to obtain a BIA Special Law Enforcement Commission and meet all certification, training, fitness, and background standards—including successful background investigation/adjudication and drug screening—and must reside within 25 miles of Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
