Wyandotte Nation is seeking bid proposals from a qualified Architectural/Engineering Firm (A-E) to expand and improve the tribe’s Pow-Wow grounds. The project encompasses several features on approximately 53 acres of land including one 12,500 yd.² paved parking lot with a 6” gravel base and 4” of paved asphalt, one 2,800 yd.² paved row for vendors with a 6” gravel base, one 1,500 ft.² restroom, six 12’ x 30’ RV pads for campers, and one designated space for a lacrosse field. Other features include new sensor faucets for the existing restrooms, one public address system throughout the grounds, a new 5,000 gallon septic tank and leach field, one new 50 amp circuit panel and transformer feed, and four 14’ light-emitting diode lighting poles. Indian preference will be observed as proposals from qualified Indian organizations and/or Indian-owned professional A-E firms will receive a 2% point advantage.
