Despite the chilly morning, families made their way to the Wyandotte Nation Pow-Wow grounds to take part in the 2nd Annual Wyandotte Nation Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning, April 9. Children from a few months old to 12 years took part in the race to gather eggs filled with candy, money and prizes.
Staff and volunteers were on hand early in the morning to lay out the 5,000 eggs for the community, who came out in droves for the pre-Easter fun. The event was sponsored by Family Services, CCDF, the Cultural Division and Bearskin Healthcare & Wellness Center.
